Bathrooms

Electrician Reading

Yes, you can have a TV in your bathroom.

Bathrooms are classed as special locations under modern regulations and so electrical fittings must meet some very specific requirements to reduce the risk of electric shock.

Lighting must be suitable for the location that they are installed within the bathroom / shower room and any other items must be electrically seperated or extra low voltage.

You can have a shaver point and electrics for your spa bath so

long as the wiring and accessories are located in permitted

zones within the room.

Waterproof TV's (and remotes) are becoming more affordable

and of course extra low voltage operating. For something

different, try one of our tapless filler systems where your bath

fills using the overflow mechanism. A powered unit installs

under the tub or floor with an electronic control which can be

mounted on the wall.

Ask also about our invisible switch bathroom dimmers.

A proximity sensor under a tile responds to your demand for

light levels.
